Sponge Rubber Material
Sponge rubber sheet is extremely versatile and widely used in the military, aerospace, consumer goods, construction, and housing sectors. It is available in a variety of materials with distinct features and capabilities, designed to suit a broad range of applications. These are some of the most common materials Aero Rubber uses to develop sponge rubber sheet products:
This material is divided into two distinct foam types: polyester and polyether. Also known as PU, the foam is known for its exceptional durability and practicality in the oil, gas, construction and transportation industries.
Silicone sponge is ideal for applications where top-quality performance is needed. This includes industrial applications that expose the sheet or fabricated parts to high and low temperatures and compression.
Rubber sponge is a blended polymer of nitrile and PVC materials. It is highly effective for sound reduction and is heat- and impact-resistant. The material is often used to create seals and roof insulation.
This material comes in two variations: neoprene sponge blend (Neoprene, EPDM, and SBR), and 100% neoprene sponge (no blend). The blend offers additional weather- and wear-resistance, whereas 100% neoprene provides excellent oil-resistance.
Fluoroelastomeric (FKM) Viton sponge rubber is extremely durable and can be exposed to oil, acid, UV rays, heat, and precipitation without degrading. This makes it ideal for applications like high-temperature oil and fuel gaskets, acoustic dampening equipment, and other heavy-duty chemical-resistant industrial uses.

Closed-Cell Sponge
Closed-cell sponge relatively hard and non-permeable. Since it does not absorb water, it’s frequently used in products that require strength and security, including gaskets, stripping, or wiper blades. It can be formulated to offer resistance to high and low temperatures, oil, chemicals, abrasion, and fluids.
